Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU), a private, non-profit institution of higher learning owned by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC), is inviting dynamic and suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions:
Faculty of Humanities and Business Studies
- Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (Accounting) – 2 Posts
- Duties: Conduct lectures, tutorials, and seminars; supervise student projects; mentor junior staff; participate in curriculum development, research, and community outreach.
- Qualifications: PhD/Master in Accounting with a GPA of 4.0/5.0 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a GPA of 3.5/5.0. Professional certification and experience in higher education are advantageous.
- Remuneration: According to MWECAU Salary Scales.
- Assistant Lecturer (Procurement and Supply Chain Management) – 2 Posts
- Duties: Conduct lectures, tutorials, and seminars; supervise student projects; mentor junior staff; participate in curriculum development, research, and community outreach.
- Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management with a GPA of 4.0/5.0 and a Bachelor’s Degree with a GPA of 3.5/5.0. Professional certification and experience in higher education are advantageous.
- Remuneration: According to MWECAU Salary Scales.
- Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (Laws – Human Rights) – 2 Posts
- Duties: Conduct lectures, tutorials, and seminars; supervise student projects; mentor junior staff; participate in curriculum development, research, and community outreach.
- Qualifications: PhD/Master in Law specializing in Human Rights with a GPA of 4.0/5.0 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a GPA of 3.5/5.0. Professional certification and experience in higher education are advantageous.
- Remuneration: According to MWECAU Salary Scales.
Faculty of Science
- Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer (ICT) – 4 Posts
- Duties: Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practicals; supervise student projects; mentor junior staff; participate in curriculum development, research, and community outreach.
- Qualifications: PhD/Master in ICT with a GPA of 4.0/5.0 and a Bachelor’s Degree in ICT with a GPA of 3.5/5.0. Experience in higher education is advantageous.
- Remuneration: According to MWECAU Salary Scales.
General Requirements for All Applicants
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills.
- Good team player with time management skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
