- Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI)
- National Irrigation Commission (NIRC)
- National Sugar Institute (NSI)
- Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA)

A total of 76 vacant posts are available for qualified Tanzanians. Below are the details of the positions:
1.0 TANZANIA AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE (TARI)
TARI is a semi-autonomous body under the Ministry of Agriculture, responsible for conducting, promoting, and coordinating agricultural research in Tanzania.
1.1 RESEARCH ASSISTANT – (LABORATORY SCIENCE) – 3 POSTS
- Duties: Data collection, record-keeping, preparing research proposals, and other assigned tasks.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (Upper Second Class GPA).
- Salary Scale: PRSS 1
1.2 RESEARCH ASSISTANT – NUTRITION – 3 POSTS
- Duties: Data collection, record-keeping, preparing research proposals, and other assigned tasks.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Home Economics, or Human Nutrition (Upper Second Class GPA).
- Salary Scale: PRSS 1
1.3 RESEARCH ASSISTANT – POST-HARVEST MANAGEMENT – 9 POSTS
- Duties: Data collection, record-keeping, preparing research proposals, and other assigned tasks.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Bio Process, Post-Harvest Engineering, or equivalent (Upper Second Class GPA).
- Salary Scale: PRSS 1
2.0 NATIONAL IRRIGATION COMMISSION (NIRC)
NIRC is responsible for irrigation development and management in Tanzania.
2.1 AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER II – IRRIGATION (5 POSTS)
- Duties: Identify irrigation potential areas, prepare feasibility studies, promote water-saving technologies, and conduct research.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or Water Resource Engineering. Must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
- Salary Scale: TGS E
2.2 AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER II – CIVIL (4 POSTS)
- Duties: Maintain irrigation infrastructure, supervise construction, and provide technical support.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Irrigation Engineering. Must be registered with ERB.
- Salary Scale: TGS E
2.3 PLANT OPERATOR II (4 POSTS)
- Duties: Operate earth-moving machines, perform maintenance, and keep records.
- Qualifications: CSEE Certificate, Driving License Class F or G, and experience operating heavy machinery.
- Salary Scale: TGOS A
3.0 NATIONAL SUGAR INSTITUTE (NSI)
NSI provides vocational training for the sugar industry.
3.1 LIBRARY ASSISTANT II (1 POST)
- Duties: Manage library materials, handle enquiries, and maintain records.
- Qualifications: Certificate in Library and Information Studies or equivalent.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 3
4.0 ENERGY AND WATER UTILITIES REGULATORY AUTHORITY (EWURA)
EWURA regulates the energy, petroleum, natural gas, and water sectors.
4.1 LIBRARY OFFICER II (1 POST)
- Duties: Manage library procedures, cataloguing, and assist users.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Librarianship, Library Studies, or equivalent.
- Salary Scale: EWURA SS 4
5.0 MZINGA CORPORATION
Mzinga Corporation, under the Ministry of Defence and National Service, has the following vacancies:
5.1 LABORATORY TECHNICIAN II – 1 POST
- Duties: Prepare chemicals, assist in lab analysis, and maintain records.
- Qualifications: Ordinary Diploma or FTC in Laboratory Technology.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 5
5.2 ASSISTANT VOCATIONAL TEACHER II – 1 POST
- Duties: Prepare training plans, conduct assessments, and provide counselling.
- Qualifications: Diploma or FTC in Technical Education (Mechanical Engineering).
- Salary Scale: PGSS 5
5.3 TECHNICIAN II (CIVIL) – 1 POST
- Duties: Conduct repairs and maintenance of buildings and plumbing systems.
- Qualifications: FTC or Ordinary Diploma in Civil Engineering.

5.4 TECHNICIAN II (MECHANICAL) – 2 POSTS
- Duties: Operate, maintain, and repair production machines.
- Qualifications: FTC or Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 5
5.5 ARTISAN II (PAINTING) – 1 POST
- Duties: Undertake painting works and manage painting equipment.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Painting.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 2
5.6 ARTISAN II (MASONRY & BRICKLAYING) – 2 POSTS
- Duties: Undertake masonry and bricklaying works.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Masonry and Bricklaying.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 2
5.7 ARTISAN II (FITTER MECHANICS) – 18 POSTS
- Duties: Repair and fabricate equipment, plants, and parts.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Fitter Mechanics.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 2
5.8 ARTISAN II (AIR CONDITION & REFRIGERATION) – 1 POST
- Duties: Install and maintain AC/refrigeration systems.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Air Condition and Refrigeration.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 2
5.9 ARTISAN II (MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANICS) – 6 POSTS
- Duties: Repair and maintain motor vehicles.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Motor Vehicle Mechanics.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 2
5.10 ARTISAN II (PANEL BEATING & PAINTING) – 2 POSTS
- Duties: Perform panel beating, painting, and maintenance.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Panel Beating and Painting.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 2
5.11 ARTISAN II (WELDING & FABRICATION) – 3 POSTS
- Duties: Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Welding and Fabrication.

5.12 ARTISAN II (CARPENTRY & JOINERY) – 4 POSTS
- Duties: Undertake carpentry and joinery works.

5.13 ARTISAN II (TAILORING) – 2 POSTS
- Duties: Construct and modify garments as per customer requirements.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Tailoring.

5.14 ARTISAN II (AUTO ELECTRIC) – 2 POSTS
- Duties: Repair and maintain vehicle electrical systems.
- Qualifications: CBET Level II or Trade Test Grade II in Auto Electric.
- Salary Scale: PGSS 2
