Job Announcement: Wheelchair Technician and Medical Attendant Positions at CCBRT
Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team in Moshi, Tanzania. We are currently hiring for the following positions:
1. Wheelchair Technician

About Us:
CCBRT is a leading provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa, committed to preventing lifelong disabilities and promoting inclusive development. We are looking for a Wheelchair Technician to join our seating clinic team and assist in the provision of wheelchairs and assistive devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, produce, and customize wheelchairs and assistive devices.
- Support clinicians during patient assessments and device fittings.
- Ensure all equipment is technically safe and in good working condition.
- Participate in outreach activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Form 4 certificate plus training in basic wheelchair services.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in wheelchair support.
- Certificate in welding is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Swahili and English.
- Proactive attitude and basic computer skills.

2. Medical Attendant – CCBRT Moshi

About Us:
CCBRT is dedicated to providing accessible healthcare services and supporting the most vulnerable communities. We are seeking a Medical Attendant to support our clinical team at the rehabilitation centre in Moshi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers and support clients under supervision.
- Prepare clinical areas and ensure tools are in good working condition.
- Transport clients, equipment, and supplies within the facility.
- Provide health education to clients and guardians.
Qualifications:
- Form 4 certificate plus one year of basic nursing training or social welfare certification.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Proactive attitude and basic computer skills.
