ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONTRACT JOB VACANCIES

The Medical Officer In-Charge of Njombe Regional Referral Hospital would like to announce contract job opportunities and invites all qualified Tanzanians to apply.

1. RADIOGRAPHER II (2 POSITIONS)
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Diploma in Radiography from a government-recognized institution and be registered with the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professional Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain radiotherapy equipment and tools in their work area.
• Provide diagnostic services to patients using proper radiation techniques.
• Inspect and manage the quality of radiation emitted by radiotherapy machines.
• Supervise employees under their authority.
• Offer advice on radiotherapy and radiation matters in their work area.
• Prepare medical/diagnostic equipment and oversee sterilization in the work area.
• Provide initial training to new employees assigned to the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor, which are related to their education, experience, and expertise.

2. RECEPTIONIST II (3 POSITIONS)
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Diploma in Reception or Customer Care Services and be proficient in computer use from a government-recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow up on patient information in the wards.
• Receive and direct patients regarding their respective treatment procedures.
• Receive and direct various visitors to the relevant hospital offices.
• Collect information from patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Open patient files.
• Perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor, which are related to their education, experience, and expertise.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS

• Applicants must be 35 years of age or younger and in good health.
• Applicants must include a Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a correct address, phone numbers, and the names of two government employee referees with their contact information.
• Letters from two referees with their correct addresses and phone numbers are required.
• Applicants must possess the relevant professional certificates.
• “Testimonial”, “provisional results”, and Form Four result slips are not acceptable.
• Applicants who studied outside the country must ensure their certificates have been verified and approved by TCU or NECTA.
• Applicants must attach certified copies of the following documents:
  • Birth certificate
  • Form Four education certificate
  • Form Six education certificate (if applicable)
  • Professional certificate
  • One passport-size photo
  • License from the relevant professional councils
  • Computer certificate

The deadline for applications is August 15, 2025.
