PROCEDURES FOR JOINING VETA CENTRES
- Applications for joining VETA centres are invited in August every year, through announcements in the media and on the VETA website: www.veta.go.tz.
- Aptitude Test is conducted in October.
- The applicant is allowed to take the aptitude test in the region where they collected the application form, even if the selected training center is in another region.
- Successful candidates are notified in November or December, ready to start training in January of the next year.
- Joining instructions are provided to successful applicants, detailing the necessary requirements for training. These requirements vary depending on the center, occupation, and whether the training is boarding or day.
- Training starts at Level I, the lowest level, with progression to Levels II and III.
TRAINING FEES
- Day trainees: Tsh 60,000/= per year.
- Boarding trainees: Tsh 120,000/= per year.
- Note: Fees are subject to change based on running costs.
