JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CONTRACT POSITION

The Executive Director of Singida District Council announces to Tanzanians with qualifications and interest to work in Singida District Council, in (Health Centers), to apply for a one-year contract job position as follows:

1.0 JOB POSITION: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT GRADE II – 02 POSITIONS.

1.1 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT.

• Applicants must have a Certificate in Accounting from a recognized institution by the Government or an ATEC 1 Certificate issued by NBAA or other equivalent qualifications recognized by NBAA.

1.2 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT GRADE II

• To write and maintain records related to accounting activities.
• To maintain accounting records.
• To deliver accounting documents/letters to the Bank.
• To perform other duties related to their field as assigned by their supervisor.

1.3 SALARY.

• Salary level is TGS B.

2.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS

i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.

ii. All applicants must attach a Birth Certificate.

iii. All applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with reliable contact addresses and phone numbers, including the names of two referees.

iv. All applications must be accompanied by 1 (Passport Size) photo, copies of Academic Certificates, Form Four and Form Six Certificates for those who have reached that level, and Certificates of various trainings, considering the qualifications specified above.

v. All applicants must attach copies of National Identification (NIDA). For those who do not have such identification, the NIDA number should be written in the Curriculum Vitae (CV).

vi. Testimonials, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of Results”, Form Four and Form Six Results Slips will not be accepted.

vii. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their Certificates are verified and approved by the relevant Authorities (TCU and NECTA).

viii. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the relevant Authority.

ix. Applications submitted outside the specified procedure in this announcement will not be considered.
