CALL FOR TRAINING

The Commissioner General of Immigration informs the youths who have been selected to join the Immigration Department to report to the Raphael Kubaga Immigration Training College, located at Boma Kichakamiba, Mkinga District – Tanga Region, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Anyone reporting to the college after the specified time will not be accepted.

For those selected through the Zanzibar Immigration Commissioner, they should report to the Southern Unguja Immigration Regional Office (Tunguu) on Friday, February 24, 2025, at 2:00 AM.


2. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REPORTING TO THE COLLEGE

Each student must report with original academic and other important documents. No student will be accepted without these documents. The required documents are:

i. Birth certificate.
ii. National Identification Card (NIDA) or NIDA number.
iii. Original academic certificates (Form Four, Form Six, Diploma, Degree).
iv. Certificates of various skills (for those with additional qualifications).


3. ITEMS REQUIRED FOR THE TRAINING

Each student must bring the following:

  • Tsh. 50,400 for health insurance if they do not have a valid health insurance card. Those with existing insurance must ensure it is valid until at least December 31, 2025.
  • Tsh. 25,000 for medical tests.
  • Personal upkeep money.

Other required items:

  • Two pairs of dark blue tracksuits with a round neck.
  • Two pairs of sports shoes (any color).
  • Three pairs of official black shoes.
  • Four blue bed sheets.
  • One sleeping mat.
  • Two blue mosquito nets.
  • Four large exercise books (4QRs).
  • One metallic trunk.
  • Two plastic buckets (one 10L, one 20L).
  • Two dark blue T-shirts with a round neck.
  • One pair of rain boots (rain boots).
  • One towel (blue).
  • One small bag (shoulder bag).
  • Cleaning tools: One hoe (with its handle), one rake, one machete, and one panga.

All the required items are available for purchase at the college store, so students may choose to buy them there.


4. IMPORTANT NOTICE

i. Transport costs to the college will be covered by the student.
ii. Medical examination will be conducted before the training begins. Any individual found to have health issues preventing them from training will not be allowed to continue.
