Our mission focuses on empowering women in rural and hard-to-reach areas by creating self-employment opportunities, building financial resilience, and harnessing their entrepreneurial spirit.
We are currently seeking competent, dynamic, and self-motivated individuals to join our team in the following positions:
1. Community Organizer Interns
Job Location: Mtwara, Lindi, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar & Morogoro
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage clients to facilitate transactions and contribute to branch portfolio development.
- Admit new clients and facilitate loan disbursement to ideal borrowers.
- Identify potential clients through surveys.
- Ensure timely installment collection and overdue realization.
- Execute tasks according to regulations and circulars.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Implement safeguarding standards in all actions.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Public Administration, Microfinance Management & Enterprise Development, or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of experience in the microfinance industry or related programs.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Team-oriented, action-driven, and results-focused with good time management and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
2. Branch Accountant Interns
Job Location: Mtwara, Lindi, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar & Morogoro
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vouchers, make payments, and maintain registers.
- Ensure daily updating of registers and cash vs. bank reconciliation.
- Post and update the system daily.
- Review and correct errors, ensuring system documentation matches.
- Manage assets, including reconciliation, tagging, and physical verification.
- Support internal and external audits and respond to audit reports promptly.
- Implement safeguarding standards in all actions.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or diploma in Banking, Finance & Accountancy or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of experience in the microfinance industry or related programs.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
- Knowledge of entrepreneurship, accounting, income tax, and financial laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and web-related systems.
