The Secretary of the Secretariat of Employment in the Public Service, on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Local Government Authorities (LGAs), invites job applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill one hundred and forty-seven (147) vacancies as outlined in this announcement.

1.1.1 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Prepare work plans, lesson plans, lesson notes, and work schedules for assigned tasks;
ii. Develop and utilize teaching and learning materials;
iii. Teach, assess, and maintain records of students’ progress;
iv. Supervise and monitor students’ attendance in school and in class;
v. Oversee students’ mental, physical, and spiritual development and provide guidance and counseling;
vi. Provide professional and academic advice on educational development;
vii. Oversee the maintenance of school facilities and assets.
1.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must have a National Form Four Examination Certificate, having passed a two-year teaching training program from a government-recognized teachers’ college and awarded a Grade A Teaching Certificate.

2.1 TEACHER GRADE III B (MATHEMATICS) – 3 POSITIONS (Kondoa DC – 1, Ilemela MC – 1, Meatu DC-1)
2.1.1 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Prepare work plans, lesson plans, lesson notes, and work schedules for assigned tasks;
ii. Develop and utilize teaching and learning materials;
iii. Teach, assess, and maintain records of students’ progress;
iv. Supervise and monitor students’ attendance in school and in class;
v. Oversee students’ mental, physical, and spiritual development and provide guidance and counseling;
vi. Provide professional and academic advice on educational development;

2.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must have a National Form Six Examination Certificate, having passed two or more subjects taught in schools and completed a two-year Diploma in Education with a teaching subject in Mathematics from a government-recognized teachers’ college.
- Applicants must have a National Form Four Examination Certificate, having passed two or more subjects taught in schools and completed a three-year Diploma in Education with a teaching subject in Mathematics from a government-recognized teachers’ college.

10.1.1 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Prepare work plans, lesson plans, lesson notes, and work schedules for assigned tasks;
ii. Develop and utilize teaching and learning materials;
iii. Teach, assess, and maintain records of students’ progress;
iv. Supervise and monitor students’ attendance in school and in class;
v. Oversee students’ mental, physical, and spiritual development and provide guidance and counseling;
vi. Provide professional and academic advice on educational development;
vii. Oversee the maintenance of school facilities and assets;
viii. Perform other duties as assigned by the school head based on school responsibilities.
10.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must have a National Form Four Examination Certificate, having passed two or more subjects taught in schools, with a Grade A Teaching Certificate and completed a two-year training program leading to a Diploma in Early Childhood or Primary Education with a teaching subject in English recognized by government education and training accreditation bodies.
- Applicants must have a National Form Four Examination Certificate, having passed two or more subjects taught in schools and completed a three-year training program leading to a Diploma in Early Childhood or Primary Education with a teaching subject in English recognized by government education and training accreditation bodies.
10.1.3 SALARY SCALE:

GENERAL CONDITIONS.
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and not older than 45 years, except for women already employed by the government;

viii. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
ix. Applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions in the Public Service should not apply and must follow the instructions in Circular No. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November, 2010.
